Welcome to my EX500 Web Page. I had some extra film to waste, so I took pictures of my EX500 using some of the scenary in the local area of Hamilton and Burlington Ontario as back drops.

Sorry about the poor quality. I used a disposable camera and I am neither a professional.

This first pic is of the gravel pits on Eastport Drive over looking the industrial Hamilton area. Gravel pits by the Hamilton industrail area.

Check this place out. This place is pretty neat. The first is the CN Rail Bridge and the second is the 403 Highway. Behind these two bridges is the creek that you see on the right which ends up on the left when you go under both bridges. The road goes for about half a kilometer where the road ends and a walking trail starts.

This is a view is overlooking Hamilton from the Niagara Escarpement. The day was't that clear or else Hamilton Harbour could be seen through the buildings. I tried to find some falls as a backdrop but, even though there are lots, there wasn't really one you could ride a bike up to. Anyway, if you look hard enough you can see Mount Albian Falls just above the gas tank. A great scenic area. This is the Pier one in Hamilton. Rigth now it is an empty marina as the boat season hasn't started yet around here. Nice place to live.

Lot's of festivals go on here. This body of water use to join Hamilton Harbour with Dundas after the turn of the century however, that ended when the channel that was dug collapsed. This is another excellent scenic area. If you follow the road that brings you down, it turns into a long long 90 degree turn that is about ten lanes wide and the whole thing is buried in a forest.

These are some of the many train tracks that exist in Hamilton. Just behind these is Prier One. Warning!!! Ruff area of Hamilton.

Choose your own course here. This is pic of one of the roads that crosses underneath the Burlington Skyway. You kind of get the best of both worlds here, roads that wind under the skyway and run along the shore of Lake Ontario or you can ride up above on the skyway at cruising speed. As you can see, Hamilton is not plagued with graffity.

This picture was taken from the Burlington side of the Hamilton Harbour. In the center off in the distance is steel factories and too the rigth is Prier One Boating, housing, festivals, partying all go on here.
